My Pregnancy Journey In Pictures

I can't believe it.  I'm pretty much at the end of my pregnancy at 39 weeks and 2 days.  The due date that seemed like an eternity away is now just days from becoming reality.

This will probably be my last post I do pregnant with Emmanuel.  These past few days have been hectic with getting everything prepared for baby and family as they will come into town; leaving me with minimal time to blog, so this is why I decided to dedicate a blog post on my bump journey in pictures.

Every chance I got I took a picture of my growing baby bump.  I wanted to keep my family and friends back in Texas apart of my progress since they could not see me in person and see my baby bump grow.

Being pregnant has taught me a lot.  It has taught me to love my body even more, to accept my body just the way it is even with all the changes that comes with pregnancy hormones, and to be confident in it.

I'm really going to miss waking up every morning to kicking and jabbing in my tummy, and I will miss going to sleep feeling his little hiccups and a lot of him moving around.  I would always tell my hubby, "I wish you could feel what I feel when he moves inside of me.  It's just the most amazing feeling ever."  And it truly is.  I know I'm going to miss it soo much when he is born and as I see him grow each day right before my eyes.

I understand most pregnant women want baby out at this point in pregnancy.  Trust me I have had times where I think to myself I'm so over this because at this stage your body is in so much pain, but then I think to myself, relax, just enjoy and cherish every moment he's in your tummy because your going to miss it one day.

This little angel can take as long as he wants.  God has a glorious day all planned out for him to be born.
This is me 39 weeks preggo and baring the belly at Folly Beach!  This day was so fun.  I love living close to the coast.

Here I am 39 weeks and 2 days.  Wow has he gotten big.  I wonder how much he weighs.

I'm so blessed to have met such  amazing people throughout my  pregnancy journey whether in person, or through social networking.  Thank you for following my videos, blog, facebook, twitter, and instagram.  I truly, truly appreciate it and am thankful for all your support.

And above all a HUGE, BIG, ENORMOUS, thank you to my wonderful hubby who is so amazing, and caring through out this whole pregnancy.  I'm truly blessed to have you as my husband.  I love you and I can't believe in a couple of days our lives are about to change forever, but all for the better.

Of course this won't be my last pregnancy post.  I plan to post more things up like for example, all the craziness that happened to my body right at 37 weeks, weight gain, and all the juicy details of pregnancy and birth! LOL

Until them this mommy is going to be preparing to welcome a little angel into this world!!!

Loving These Lashes!

I gave in.  I had too.  I bought 2 pairs of eyelashes from House of Lashes. I follow them on Instagram and on Facebook.  I must say I am a fan.  I have been eyeing their eyelashes for quite some time now.  As a obsessed makeup junkie, I definitely had to have my hands on these lashes to go with all that fab makeup of mine.

I ordered them through their website  www.houseoflashes.com.  It was easy to pick out what I wanted because their eyelashes were categorized by collections which are, Au Naturale, Goddess Collection, Glam Collection, and Premium Luxe.

I chose two lashes to start off with from the Premium Luxe collection.  I chose "Pixie Luxe" and "Noir Fairy"  It was a hard decision because I wanted them all, but what really helped me make my ultimate decision was the beautiful instagram pictures.  That's how I knew exactly which ones I wanted.  I definitely want to try all of their lashes but all in due time. :)

Purchasing them was easy.  They were resonably priced.  Online transaction was a breeze and they didn't take too long to arive in the mail.

The packaging is beautiful.  The pink lash box is oh so girly! And just by looking at them in person they truly are stunning lashes.  Nothing like I've ever seen out there.

I can't wait to rock these babies out and take pics and show you guys how they look.  Have any of you tried House of Lashes yet?

37 Week Bump Update and Karen Egren Jewelry

I'm officially considered full term in my pregnancy.  37 weeks to be exact.  It's been a tough time.  My feet, ankles, and legs have been swelling really bad.  My feet seriously look hideous and believe it or not I could not fit into some cute strappy sandals that I wanted to wear to church this morning :/.  Yes, it was a pretty depressing moment, but it was just a moment.  I have to keep reminding myself this too shall pass.  I won't be pregnant forever and luckily I'm not alone.  Many pregnant woman are in my same boat and it helps we can all relate to each other some how.

Another thing I really wanted to share with you guys is an amazing jewelry line I discovered.  Karen Egren Jewelry.  Her jewelry is exquisite, truly one of a kind.  I won this dainty bracelet on an Instagram giveaway.  It's stunning in person and that picture does not do it justice. I'm literally obsessed with all the lovely pieces.

You can check out more of the collection on her website www.karenegren.com

Glamour Angel Makeup Portfolio: Dramatic Pink

Most of you know I have a Free Lance Makeup Artistry business I do aside from my job.  And that is Glamour Angel Makeup.  Why Glamour Angel?  Well every woman wants to feel and look glamorous and look as beautiful as an angel.  I've been building up my portfolio more, especially on this blog, since it is easier access for my clients.

I appreciate Brooke being my model for this particular look.  I call this "Dramatic Pink"  It's a combination of a beautiful pigmented pink smokey eye with soft candy pink lips.  It's great for an evening out on the town, a fun photo shoot, or can even be worn for that ultra glam bride that loves to shine.

As you can see from my model's before picture, she is already flawless to begin with.  So everything we did extra accentuated her beauty.

Here are just some of the key products I used to achieve this look.  This is Pink Pigment from the Baking Beauties Collection.  For a bride I recommend just using a regular pink tone shadow. All other shadows are from the Coastal Scents 252 palette.  Great palette for a great price.

MAC #3 lashes.  Some of my favorite lashes! I call these the "sexy lashes"!

Candy Yum Yum lipstick.  I know, it's really bright but I combined it with Beet lip liner and Viva Glam Nikki 2 lipstick in the center of lips.  After that I applied "Little Rock" dazzle glass over for intense lip shine!

If you guys have any questions over anything I used shoot me a comment in the comment section! :)

My Hair Routine And Review Using Ojon Products

I discovered Ojon products a few years ago when a hair stylist used them on my hair.  They really stood out and made an impression on me instantly.  They made my hair feel so smooth, shiny and frizz free.  I also loved the way they smelled.  Ever since then I've pretty much stuck to these hair products particularly for shine and frizz.

I have naturally wavy hair.  And it gets frizzy at times especially with humidity.  Recently through out my pregnancy I have felt my hair feel lackluster, dry, and limp.  It's crazy what hormones can do to you.  :/

I was scrolling through my emails and saw an email from Ulta for an Ojon coupon.  The coupon was if you spend over $20 worth of Ojon products you get a Damage Reverse shampoo and conditioner for FREE!  I thought perfect, now is a great time to try their shampoo's and conditioners because all I ever tried was the Ojon serums and creams.

My take on it
I LOVE IT.  I feel my hair is so much more manageable when blow drying it.  It definitely does an amazing job at controlling the frizz. It feels good when I rub it into my scalp and when it's washing off of my hair.  And when I add the Instant Restorative Hair Serum it gives my hair an additional shine that I absolutely love.  I use the hair serum when my hair is damp (before blow drying)  and add a little touch up after the blow dry.

I personally would not use these shampoo's on a everyday basis.  Even though they were free with coupon, I know they are expensive and I rather use them for occasions I have to wear my hair down, or for special events etc.

I also use T3 Tourmaline blow drier.  A good blow drier makes a difference! Trust me!  And a great round brush.  Preferably ceramic!

Have any of you guys tried Ojon products, or have wanted to try them?  I personally would recommend them to any woman who wants shiny healthy looking hair!
